    just a couple of quick questions..
    1.) what is the cut off for the pinion size in a 14ff for the gear size?
    2.) what are the most powerful gears for running 39.5's?
    3.) going price for a D60 and a 14ff combo?
    4.) what other parts do i need for a true 1-ton converson?

    1.) 4.10 and numericaly lower
    2.) 5.13 is as high as they go on a 14 FF
    3.) $1000-$2500 used. $2500 and up for rebuilt.
    4.) Driveshafts, TH 400 tranny, 454 rat under the hood.

    Don't forget the stickers. They make your truck equal to one ton strength without the extra weight. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif /forums/images/icons/smile.gif just kidding. 85Mouse covered the rest of it. If you have SM465, they were used up to 2.5 ton applications, so that wouldn't need to be changed.
