Last one didn't surprise me. Over 50,000 were killed/wounded/missing at Gettysburg alone...

good questions, i only got 7 out of 10. 600,000 is a lot. I remember one time when I was in school and I learned how many people died and were wounded and I came home and told my dad how it was the toughest war the US ever fought (as if he didn't already know) and he said, "of course son, look who the competition was!" ;)

9 out of 10, and i think 9 is wrong, Battle of Antietam should be the correct answer

#9 is sorta subjective. Ant was a huge battle, whole lotta dead guys on both sides. Gettysburg was a pretty big deal tho... if the south had routed the north there, it pretty much woulda been over unless lincoln wanted to abandon DC, run further north and build a new army.

I surprised myself, although it wasn't that hard or long of a quiz.

Confederates never went offensive on Union land after GEttysburg, that's why the call it the turning point. Antietam was just friggin bloody.
