I need to go take my Suburban to get smogged (California)in a couple of hours and can't figure out what the timing needs to be. I've got listings for 2,,6,8 BTDC. Which one do I need to set it for for CA emissions? Also, is a 3/4 ton suburban considered light or heavy duty? The motor is a new 350 crate motor from GM. Any help would be appreciated. Wish me luck, This is to be my last emissions test with the beast if i pass.

Just in case anyone was wondering the standard for a California emissions test with a vehicle equipped with an air pump is 2 BTDC. Testers said my vehicle ran cleaner than most new cars. So long Smog Checks. I can't say that I will miss you.
