quick verification on seat bases

    are the bases for front seats on an 83 the same as 88?

    I know that the bases on a 82 and a 87 are not the same for sure so I doubt that 83 and 88 are. All I did for the 87 seats was to drill all 4 new holes and make some plates to go under the cab and use grade 8 bolts to hold it all in there not to bad.....Jason

    No, There not. In 86, they changed. Starting in 86, the passenger seat, slides foward and then the back part tilts foward. NOT the whole seat!! A much better design IMO!!

    I put 87 seats into my 76. easy install.
