I have an old clipping that says this (Censored) beats the blazer 7 to 1 in mileage, off-roading and stability in harsh conditions.

Can you blazer guy and gals give me an answer and I'll tell you if you're right or not. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

What else would get roughly 126 mpg??? Hell, if you show me the vehicle that gets that kind of mileage...I'll show you the money to buy it /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif

When I was kid I used to read about the Rokon all the time. It was a pretty amazing rig! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif But alas, I would have had to mow a LOT of lawns then to pay for one. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif They used to be advertised in the back of all to 4WD mags back in the early 70's.

Honda fourwheeler? Or maybe a Sidekick or a Samurai? Theres got to be some trick to this question!

Maybe they said a Jimmy is better than a Blazer! Because there is some truth to that! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Holy crap that's so cool you guys are talking about Rokons. Those are the coolest things - still made by the way. www.rokon.com I sent for pricing info on them a year or so ago...the two seater model - $5,000 /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif I bet they don't sell too many of them at that price. (I guess they just added the price list to the web-site - I had to mail for it before)
My uncle has a 30 year old Retek bike. Just like Rokon but only rear wheel drive. Huge floatation knobby tires and a 7 h.p. Tecumseh engine /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif. Right now, the engine is being rebuilt and the bike is getting some new parts. Let me tell you, that thing is awesome. That can climb grades a fourwheeler wouldn't even look at. And, even though it's one-gear with a centrifugal clutch, that thing will hit 30 on straightaways, and quickly /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Either the Chevy Bronco or the Ford Blazer. Just can't remember which did better than the other. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    What year is it?

If it's pre-81 my guess would have to be a IH Scout. Although stability isnt exactly one of its strong points (maybe new), they are capable of around 15 mpg pretty easy and are very capable off road.

My other guess would be a Toyota.
