I would like to get an electric onroad to play with. It doesn't have to be for competition but I would like for it to be fast. I would also like for it to be 4WD. I was thinking a 1/10th or 1/18th scale but not sure if the 1/18th can hold up to parking lot abrasions. I was thinking of this one

    HPI micro RS4

What do you guys think? Or if someone has an HPI MINI PRO I would highly be interested in it. It looks like this:

Go 1/10th scale. Stronger parts, and they're easier to control on imperfect surfaces like driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots.
I've always dealt with Tower Hobbies . No problems over the past 14 years of occasional orders. They have a good deal on replacement parts, too. "Parts Express" gets all your replacement parts (like the steering and suspension parts that take the worst abuse on a car) shipped for just $3.99 S&H, no matter how much you order.
