Radiator and trans lines

    on a 700r4
    wich is the out,and in on the trans
    top or bottom
    also wich is in and out on Radiator
    top or bottom

    Try a search on the subject because this topic is covered often.
    I'm not sure about the location on the trans. But, the lines at the radiator are: top - fluid goes back to transmission, bottom - fluid comes in from transmission. If you're looking for which line to put a cooler on, the suggested one is the return line (top) because the fluid has already been partially cooled by the radiator. Hope this helps with half of your question.

    If no one else responds, and your curiosity is unbearable, you could always trace the two lines back to the trans and figure out which line is which - based on what I just told you.

    On the 700R4, the top line is the return from the cooler, and the bottom line is from the tranny out to the radiator.
