My fathers 84 CUCV M1008 is being sold on Saturday. It desided to spring a leak today. In the morning I started it up like always. was going to let it warm up, but was late again So I haled a$$ to work. Pushed it pretty hard with heater full blast. Backing the truck into a space. Get out and there it is smoke coming from under the hood and coolant on the ground. CRAP!!! What would cause this and is there a way to fix it in the truck? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif Any help would be appreciated Thanks Mike

How cold was it outside? was it freezing?
If it was and you drove it hard you could have busted something from the pressure.

It was about 50 out. It is coming from the driver side bottom. I guess I will just need to take it out. Mike

I bet if you remove the radiator and have it fixed, or get a new one it will be fixed. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
