Is the radiator support the same for a 87 as is a 89-91?
Becuase in the LMC they sell the same support from 81-91... so does this mean if i wanted to convert to a 89-91 grille, all i would need is the lgihts, bezzels, and grille?? Thanks!

No... there are not the same. 81 to 88 single and dual head lights. 89 to 91 have there own models of single and dual headlights.

yes... the only thing different is the grill and lights. I think you might have to change the wiring pigtails. Email me the part numbers you want to order, and i'll see if i can hook you up with a discount. I'm a LMC Dealer.

Sorry but they are different. I went through this and you need to get the whole core support with the wiring. then you can just stick the pigtails together. The wiring colors did not change.

definately not the same, the light mounts have to match the grille configuration, and they dont.

The fenders/hood/ radiator support all the same. You are correct in saying "can i change the grille, and lights." However, you will need to do wiring also. I don't think anyone actually read your post!

What I meant is that you can not put 89' lights on an 87' radiator support, not if you are using GM parts. the holes that the headlights bolt to and fit inside of are not in the same place, so you could get the grill in but no lights, and its not just an 81' to 88' thing, the support is also diffrent if you only have two headlights as opposed to four, during the same production period.

Dude, I'm telling you, the radiator support is not the same, they are different. You can not just change the grill and the headlights.

It would be nice if you could but it doesnt work. The holes for the buckets are completely different. If you did much chopping and welding you could do it, but I think it would be quicker to just change out the support. It wasnt really that hard. I didnt even pull the radiator. took me a few hours by myself.

The radiator support is different, you might also want to check the price on the lights before you decide doing this, they are mucho $$$.

I just bought the complete unit from a junk yard. They took a saw and cut all the way around. I ended up with about 5 inches of fenders with it. Cost was around $400 with everything including the headlights.

The easiest might be the junkyard. Then you get it all, like the wiring, screws, bolts, you know.
