92 truck with stock radio in it, has the blue digital LCD screen, well the radio turns on and off but the screen is dead and you jus hear lotsof electrical humming in the speaker and when you turn on wipers or anything electric then it gets worse bad and if you pull and replace fuses then it makes static noises and all kinds of stuff in the speakers, just started the other day

entire dash was pulled off of truck over a year ago to replace heater core btw

also cig lighter is dead now and dahs lights work though, all fuses check good
radio fuse did burn once about two weeks ago

radio is total stock origial no wires are cut anywhere in this truck at all
    any ideas ?

    I'd check the grounds first.

If you still have a problem after that, you can go to radio shack and buy a capacitor, attach one end to the radio hot and the other to the radio ground.

That way if you are getting some sort of high frequency interference it will jump the capacitor and stay out of the radio.
