im putting in my dana 60 this weekend andwent to purchase a 3 in steering block but no one has it in stock in my area and i dont like the idea of pulling out the old studs, plus the damn block is like 80 bucks, do you guys think i could get away driving only on the street till right after x-mas when i can afford cross over? how inexpensive can i do a complete cross over? my k5 has 6inches of lift. thx j.c.

I'd say you'd be pretty hard pressed to drive it with 6" of lift and no steering correction. Maybe I read what you were saying wrong though [IMG] I'd wait until I had the x-over to put on the d60. It's pretty easy to work in the steering box area when there's no front end under the truck.
