I am with the rest of the guys...post some pics. You've got a "free" CK5 website area, so start filling it up with pics.

I am especially interested....seeing as I ALSO have a '72, and would like to check out your rig.!

Congrats on that motor.....that has to be a GREAT feeling! [IMG]

    Right on Man!
You are doing what many of us are only dreaming about for the future. I know whats gonna be on my Christmas list now.
I guess I'll have to build up an injected 540 now or something to top yours. Always wanted a blown big block stickin' out the hood.
    Good luck on GAS!
Hell, at least gas prices are going down a little 'eh?

    So its gonna be a 502, 4L80E...
    What axles are you running?
Do you have a Big block in there now or a SBC? Do you have a body lift for clearance on the rear of the engine where it meets the firewall?

    roostr,

HAHAHAHAHAHA.....don't feel bad about not having a wife that "gets it" about blazers. I've come to recognize my wife's "glazed-over-eyeballs" look when I start carrying on about the K5 or axles, or the stereo, etc.

She's a really good sport about my "K5 Mistress", but like most women her "saturation level" for automotive-related conversations happens pretty fast! That's why it's great to be on this list......you can talk Blazers 24x7x365 and everyone here LOVES to hear about it! [IMG]

Hey man... thats great that you are getting the 502.... I have to go the cheap route... I got a guy that is possibly gonna trade me my 400sbc with the 700 tranny for his 454... and right now trying to work on getting a 400 mated to a 205 for my setup... So I wish you the best of luck on your swap as well as myself... I know I am going to need it.

Was About to put in 400 SBC/ 700-R4
Now trying to go 454/ 400/ 205 setup
