Hey i am thinking about getting a 3" Rancho lift and then 33" and i want to know if anyone knows how much the lift would cost for an 86 K5 and what type of there shocks are perfered. Also i am getting my rims soon and was going to get American Racing Wheels and does Baja (bullet holes) look the best. Any help would be great thanks

It would probably cost abotu $400 or maybe a little more, if its an all spring lift. All of their shocks are good, and I've actualyy had RS 5000s, RSXs and RS 9000s on mine. The RSXs don't come i nthe right size for a lift, so they are ruled out. I have RS 9000s on right now and I really like them and would recommend them.

Buy the rims you like. Your the one that has to look at them everyday!

If it ain't a Chevy, don't raise it up!

Try to plan ahead, are you going to go to a 8 lug axle later?
