sorry, I love UFC so much so that I assume that EVERYONE watches it and those names are household names. it was Randy Coture vs Tim Sylvia for the Heavy Weight Title. Randy came out of retirement at 43 to fight Tim's 6' 8" 265 lb stature. Randy is 6' 2" 222lb. man I just love this s**t.:D

did'nt really care about the rest of the fights.

I was real happy to see Randy win. What's Silvia gonna do now that he can't walk around everywhere with his belt? Somebody like Randy needed to come along and show Silvia that's he's really not that skilled. Man, I can't wait to see the video of that fight! Anyone got a link?

Randy needs to come back to Portland... the guy was training peeps there at a mixed martial arts gym. Kinda cool having a upper-echelon UFC guy from your area. :thumb:

I was glad to see that goofy Farva (Super Troopers) lookin guy lose. I didnt think it would be such a domination. I really thought Randy would get knocked around a little. I wish I could have heard the crowd. I was watching at Hooters and could hear nothing but this one table of idiots behind me screaming about anything and everything.

He kept the belt because the UFC is lacking good heavyweights. Arlovski is pretty good but for some reason Silvia has his number. I think Arlovski could beat thim again though for sure. Now that the UFC has gotten Mirko Cro-cop from Pride I don't think there is anyone in the UFC that can hang with him. I think it is a matter of time before Cro-cop get the title shot & wins.

Pride has much better heavyweights then the UFC. There are some that are coming up through the ranks but Pride has the edge for sure. Fedor is the best around but Cro-cop & Mark Hunt could beat anybody the UFC could muster to fight them.

I really like Randy and he is a damn tough dude but I am not sure he can beat Cro-cop. I knew he could beat Silvia as long as he didn't get caught with some big punches and get him on the ground. He didn't get caught and he got him on the ground and he kicked Silvia's ass.

Randy came out hitting hard at the beginning and Tim's fat-never actually fought a full fight only held opponets at basy with his long arse reach-ass got worne out so quick he couldfn't do anything!! As for Arlovski, his chin is weak and that is what screws him. I like the guy, but he has to watch the chin blows.

I missed the fight but you have to admit Tim has come a long way from the fat arse he started off as. His technique has improved dramatically. i still cant believe he beat Arlovsky. Randy is a sand up dude and very talented. good to hear he beat Tim.

The fight between sylvia and couture was AMAZING. I could not believe how much Randy dominated the whole fight, Sylvia never had a chance...

Sylvia's eye looked pretty bad at the end of the fight. Is it wrong that I laughed every time he got taken down, punched, and elbowed?

Edit: Tim really doesnt suck, he just cherished the belt too much to take any kind of chance. He fought to win the scorecards, not knockout or submit. I think he will be hungry to get it back and his next few fights could be good.
