I was informed by my mother in law today that my 13 yo niece (just turned 13) was kissed on the lips by her bus driver. WTF!!? It appears that he has been sweet on her for a while.. buying her a soda here and there, and a stuffed animal right beofre easter weekend, that he told her not to tell anyone about. Being young she didn't really think anything about it until the stuffed animal. She thought it was sort of weird that he gave it to her.. and even weirder that he told her not to tell, cause .. "someone might think it was suspicious". So, Monday morning he drops all the kiddos off at the middle school, and asks her to wait for a moment.. pulls up about 15 feet, and then plants one on her.. and asks if it's ok to do it again. She told him no and got off the bus. Her and her friend, who was waiting for her, then went and reported him. This guy has been her bus driver for a couple of years.. and of course knows damn good and well that she's as young as she is. WTF was that idiot thinking?! I guess he actually thought he would get away with it?!!! Luckly the school acted right away.. and he was not driving the bus that afternoon. I hope they break it off in his rump... what a loooooser.

Now my mother in law is worried cause of course the guy knows where she lives etc etc.. So I guess we'll all have to be on "child molester patrol" around here... I know one thing, if he comes messing around out here... I'll put him down myself.. and it won't be with insults.

    Other scumbag news:

I went and watched my cousins boys last moto-X race this season. Once the races were over, we went our seperate ways. They went to eat lunch on the way home.. and came out to find that someone broke into the trailer while they were eating, and stole both bikes. The bikes were his 10 yo boy's 85cc and his 6 yo's Honda Z50 .. Man.. you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a scumbag these days.

Rant off... even though I'm still pissed ...

That is some sick s*@t! Howcome it's only legal to have a dog neutered without his consent?? Will the school press charges, or is that up to your neice's family?
On a similar topic to the second rant in the post. In the local paper yesterday, a young couple both just returning from a year and half in iraq, serving with the army, parked a trailer in front of his mother's house containing the two brand new 4 wheelers that they had bought with the money earned while overseas, only to wake up the next morning to get ready to go and ride the 4 wheelers for the first time and the trailer gone!! I've got a soft spot for fellow soldiers, but either way that's f'd up! I'd read something about how one of the local bike shops was looking to donate two new 4 wheelers to them! Sometimes the scumbags bring out the good in others, silver lining??

That really sucks. It's a shame we have to be almost "paranoid" about making sure everything is locked up .. or that nothing is left to chance.

My cousin said he really felt bad when his 6 yo came into his room the other night and gave him 2 dollars to "help save up for another bike". :(

    Trolls..

I'm not sure yet what will happen with the bus driver. My sister in law (the mother) is a high school teacher in the same district, and the dad is a mechanic for the district also.. so I'm sure they will be keeping a finger on the pulse of things. I have not had a chance to talk to them yet, since we had plans this evening.

I'm with you. Nothing like a pervert that fools with children. I really start to think that other countries might have the right idea with these guys - fool with a child and get stoned/shot/hanged.

I would make sure that this got reported to the police, if only so that when he does it again to another child (he will) there is a record and a pattern. Sick SOB's like that never get better, just better at hiding it.

Technically, this is an assault. I would definitely make sure a police report is completed. This guy may also have priors and it needs to be nipped in the bud.

    Exactly.

As far as trolls go: Personally I can't remember a time when there was so much outright theft. Tools, trucks, et. I just put a battery cutoff on my truck yesterday and have a fuel cutoff will go in this weekend.

Welcome to the world of weirdo's.....

I have read a lot of horror stories about people like that bus driver in my area--seems we are the pervert capital of the U.S. here in MA--now we have gay marriage, and all the odd ducks are coming from all over to live here...One guy they busted was wanted for rape, assault, and had crack on him when they arrested him!-
-He was reportedly grabbing the kids crotches as they got off the bus!--and they were watching him like a hawk for weeks, finally one day a young girl had fallen asleep in the back of the bus,and he didnt realize it until he was sweeping the bus after parking it at the bus company parking lot..He started to fondle the girls boobs, she awoke, screamed, and kicked him in the gonads, and luckily a detective had been following him,and moved in and arrested him--who knows what he would have done if not interrupted...

I'm glad I never had kids--You cant even trust a priest--more of them are being arrested for molesting young boys than anyone else here!--and many of them did it for years, and were merely moved to another church out of state(or the country!)--and many of the "sex opffenders" live in a prison only a few miles from me in a country club atmosphere, then are released back into society--they list them by their risk of possible re-offense,Level 1, 2. and 3--if it were MY kids they molested--I'd only count to one--and BOOM! :angry1:

They should do like they do in arabia--get caught molesting or raping--off with the penis!--get caught stealing?--off with one finger--do it again, goodbye hand!--we used to brand "theif" in the forehead of cattle rustlers, maybe "rapist" or "Molester" should be branded in the forehead of all the perverts who commit theese crimes!--too many times after a body is found in the woods,I hear a neighbor of the pervert tell the news reporter"he seemed like such a nice man, always so helpful"--ya-helping himself to your children's innocence...

I'm in the firm belief that rape is an offense punishable by death and only death. They've prooven time and time again that they will continue to do it, and from what I've always heard on discovery channel or crime t.v. or whatever that even if you cut off the "appendage" that they will just use a broomstick or whatever. I guess it's not so much the sexual act as it is the domination of the victim, so my belief would be the correct head to cut off is the top one :hack: ....but then you get into violating a sicko's "human rights".....nevermind the child's right to a normal and untainted life!! Eh, but what do I know, I'm not a lawyer...

This guy sounds like he's either on his way to becoming a molestor or is one and your niece is the first one that outed him. How old is he, btw?
I hope authorities are researching any other kids that have been under his control for his employment period and sending at least a general questionaire or info package to parents.
People close to him in work, etc, may be tempted to "just look the other way" and dismiss him. I know you said it was your niece, but if you're involved at all, make sure you/they follow up on this and keep everyone involved (bus company, school authorities, district authorities) tied to the law. Threaten civil action against them if necessary, and look into the litigation options available.
And definately make sure the police are involved asap!

When it was exposed that the guy that recently killed the little girl in fl had done contract work in her school, my wife freaked and got ready to demand our daughter's school policy on background checks for contractors. Come to think of it, I don't remember what she said happened with that. Anyway, you might want to also request copies of their hiring policies.

If you're in a smaller or tight-knit community, this can be difficult, but they should make sure they address this as a problem and not let it slide.

I think if something like this happened with one of my kids, it would be difficult to contain the rage. I'm sure I would control it, but I would probably need to break something to avoid going vigilante and staying legal.

In one person's mind "hey, it was just a kiss", but in my mind, it was a point of beyond-reasonable-doubt escalation of inappropriate behavior that would lead to harmful behavior. Heck, it was uninvited physical contact!

What's sad is that this shell-shocks people. We found a 4 or 5 year old kid crying and wandering around Hershey park when we were there last year, and we took her in an walked around with her trying to find her parents and some kind of park authority. I didn't want to leave her alone with the park employees, so I stayed with them until the parents came along.
I get paranoid about my own kids and how often they're out of my control, too because of stuff like this. Reality is I will never be able to guard them 24/7/365, but I can still worry about them... And it sucks that I have to periodically talk to my daughter about "Bad people" and "Private parts" and "bad touching" and "secrets from mommy and daddy".

Did any of yall see on the news about a year ago or so that down here in south texas a local judge ordered all sex offenders in the city to post signs in their yards and bumper stickers on their cars? This judge's family is very close friends to mine and his name is Judge Banales. It was extremely controversial but in the end his ruling was upheld. I thought it was a really good idea.

I just saw that on the news in my breakroom about an hour ago... Pretty messed up. I'm glad nobody tried that when I was a boy scout... Mine was the Heavy Metal troop, I think anybody trying anything like that would've been tarred and featherd' on the spot...

    Afroman, that's a brilliant idea!!!

Police officer charged with molesting nine-year-old girl

    By The Associated Press
(3/29/05 - SAN ANTONIO, TX) — A 26-year police veteran has been charged with molesting a 9-year-old girl Joe Regalado, 51, was arrested on a warrant by the sex crimes unit at police headquarters Monday. He was being held on a charge of indecency with a child by contact at the Bexar County Jail on $150,000 bond. Police Chief Albert Ortiz said he placed Regalado on paid administrative leave March 21, the day the allegations were brought against the officer.

The offense is a second-degree felony, punishable by two to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

Authorities allege the assault took place March 20 when the girl, described in an arrest affidavit as a friend the man's girlfriend, was visiting his home. Regalado allegedly touched the girl inappropriately beneath her clothes.

The alleged victim reported the incidents to a school counselor the next day.

Police notified Child Protective Services of the allegation.

Ortiz said Regalado would be terminated if found guilty or indicted on the charges.

My wife Gerri has something to say on this topic.

Gerri: Rehabilitation is a fantasy. Molesters can't be changed, they come out of rehabilitation centers like hungry animals. My sister Shirley used to say the only thing you could do to a child molester was to cut their hands off. Castration was ineffective in her opinion because the sickness is in their minds. Another thing about child molesters, they always try to put themselves in positions of trust that are close to kids.

Make sure the parents of your niece keep their guard up since he knows her routine. When you let your guard down that is usually when the molester resurfaces.

I'll have to check with her mom & dad and see what all they plan to do. As far as watching out for him.. we'll all be doing that. We all live in the same area.. my father & mother in law gave my wife and her sister some of their land, so our houses are within walking distance. The bus stop is a short ways from my parent in laws home.. and close to some neighbors. If this guy comes around we'll know it. I plan to tell my sis-n-law to make sure the school keeps this guy away from her on their end.

If he comes around looking for trouble.. he'll find it quick.
