Rattle in front driver side

    When im going down the road and hit a bump sonuds like the hub is rattling /forums/images/icons/frown.gif , done it after had new rotters put on, any suggestions.

    I'd say dig in ASAP...I noticed a clang on my 85 only when I hit potholes. I was about to go on a road trip so I decided I better check up on this noise and it turned out I only had one guide pin holding the brake caliper on... Also check your wheel bearings...err rather the torque on them....easiest way to check anything in general up there is to jack up the probable cause side....take the tire with both hands and check for play in and out grabbing the sides of the tire at 3 and 9 o'clock and back and forth wobble grabbing the tire at 12 and 6 o'clock.....

    Funny, but this happened to me. It ended up just being the center cap around the hub was missing a couple of bolts.

    Mine was the center cap too. Had to bend the tabs on the back. Sure sounds bad though.

    There is a little rubber piece that goes on the guide pin bushing to prevent ratteling. This may have been damaged or lost during the installation.
