Rattle under Sub

Discussion in '1973-1991 K5 Blazer | Truck | Suburban' started by fireinthehole, Jun 10, 2002.

I have this annoying rattle coming from under my Suburban. Almost every time it is first started it is there, then I can sometimes here it as I drive, usually at slow speeds. I thought it might be a heat shield or something, but havent found it yet. This morning I got under it as soon as I heard it, and it sounds like its coming from the passenger area up by the exhaust manifold. Anyone have a clue?
    Thanks- Mat

my 89 3/4 ton sub has a problem with flexplates, it eats em up! /forums/images/icons/confused.gif /forums/images/icons/mad.gif they make a rattling noise when they are going out, but only when torque is applied to the drivetrain.
