rattling shifter solutions?????

    anybody have a fix for t-case shifters rattling? its driving me crazy.i have a bungee wrapped around it now as a band-aid. just though i would throw this out there im sure others have the same issues.

    You have a NP205? Read Doug (AZBLAZER)'s response to Steve on the thread about 90-91 crewcab. Seems there is a fix...........

    I have a 203 part time conv. mine ratels like crazy. HELP!!!!!

    if you have a 205 easy fix about $15.00 go 2 dealer and buy a new mounting bolt with plastic bushing's why plastic ( job security i guess ) lol
    If you have a 203 more work
    but first remove that boat anchor and put it were it belongs on the end of a fishing pole or worked up with anouther of its kind for a doubler set up THEN find and buy and install a 205 then if it still rattles see rule 1 above :-)

    I just put a heavy glove on the stick.
    one day will rebush it with nylon

    Mine was rattling like crazy but it ended up being the little nut between the knob and the stick, some type of locking nut. Tightened it and its silent again, though it was somewhere lower though.

    thanks i have a gen 1 doubler in mine ,but the nylon bushings should work for where i think the rattle is coming from. thanks for the ideas guys
