Nice pictures Doug. What kind of hangs where those on the rear shackles? And do you like them? Hope you got your leak fixed. Maybe next time we can make it to the ghost towns and mines that you were talking about.

Nice meeting some of the Phx. K5's, If y'all what to run some of the Tucson trails just let me know.
Hope your diff leak did not run to low on fluid.
Anyone know where to get a Holley Pro-Jection injector, one of mine is inttermittant, did not miss a beat on the
freeway ride home, but on the dirt/rock road from Raw Deal to the Dried River bed, it was only runing on one.

Nate..first off..nice to finally meet ya! Allways see that darn K5 zipping past me while road testing stuff at work...lol. The rear shackles on my 79 are made by Velvet Ride. I don't exactly think they were designed with 4x4's in mine but they make one hell'uva difference and they really help out with rough roads...i'm quite pleased! Actually one of these days i need to unbolt the spring pack keepers also....lol. Repairs went fine...no permenant damage...it just cut the trip a bit short. Good thing it happened...while i was under her takin a peek i discovered my steering box bolts were loose..oops. Gonna replace with 1/4 inch longer grade 8's...lock washers and some locktight...plus i have a butt load of maint. to do. But a mechs truck is the last one to get worked on....lol. BTW...what was the name of that place that did your exhaust?

As far as ghost towns...maybe next month...this sunday i have to help Steve88 with his a/c and the next sunday (27th) Bigbadbowtie is comin up from Tucson for the same...so since Bigdaddy89 wants to get back out and have a look we should start lookin at dates again for all to attend....

The exhaust was done at Mike Smiths Mufflers. They are just south of Glendale Ave on 55th Drive. I dont have there # with me but I will send you an e-mail tomorrow. If you call talk to Mike the owner. They charged me 320 flat(no tax) for a new high flow cat with a magnaflow muffler with 3" pipes from the Y back and chrome tip. He was going to charge the same for a 2 chamber Flowmaster but I went with the magnaflow for alittle less noise. By the way.... when is it my turn to have my A/C looked at... seeing that summer is almost over..... lol.

Nate...if i have time i will stop by the muffler shop on the way to work today...need to swing by pep girls and try out some water wetter...still running a tad to hot...think i have a dead fan clutch once again! If it wasn't for that brandy new GM aluminum rad i think she would be sidelined! As far as the a/c goes you can come over on the 27th when BigBadBowtie is over and we'll look at your system also.
