    How big are the spring plate bolts that thread into the pumpkin on the passenger side?

    Thats a relief, because I was actually able to thread some 9/16" into both holes and get some moderate torque before they slipped and kept spinning. I thought I stripped the housing... Thanks

    <font color="green"> Well you probably didn't do the threads any favors by doing that... You might want to run a tap into them to clean the threads out before putting the 5/8" ones into it. </font>

    Well correct me if I'm worng but I heard they used 2 different sizes of bolts depending on what year you have. They switched it at some point. And you I definitly agree with was Shaggy said run a tap in there and clean up those threads a bit. Later

    I have a 60 from an '82 1 ton diesel... anyone know?
