Rear Autolockers

    What is this lock/unlock weave i hear about? Is it noticible, what does it do?

    6in 87' K5 w/ 35" BFG muds.

    What I need: 4.57 gears, limited slip front, auto locker in the rear, KN filter, Force2 Catback, rear springs, SSR's

    When an autolocker is locked there is a pronounced understeer. This means more steering input to complete the same turn or lane change. If you take your foot off the gas the locker will unlock and the steering effort required will be less causing you to over-correct most likely. The trick is to keep some power applied while making a lane change or coasting through a turn. Applying power or leting off will cause some strange handling. Mostly its not a big deal, it just takes some getting used to.
