I'm preparing to replace the axle seals on my '91. Anyone have any hints/directions for removing the c-clip(s?) or any other part of the job? I bought a seal remover. It apears easy according to the Haynes manual I have. Thanks for any info.

After you remove the carier pin push in on the axel shafts, this will release the c-clips and you can pull the axels out...thats about it
    Good luck

Must have been quite some project. Looks like you were a "newbie" when you started, and a "journeyman" when you were done! Must have learned alot!

Interesting point. Does the web page update status after a certain number of posts?
