Was looking at an old chevy van(its old enough to have the same style plug that we have on our steering colums and it was'nt a tilt dammit) and noticed it had a full floater rear. I assumed it was a 14bolt but on the way home I was thinking maybe it was a Dana.
Any body have an idea when or if Danas were put in vans? I can get this thing really cheap.
    Thanks guys.

If it's OLD then it's an Eaton. Just as strong as the 14 bolt just harder to find parts.

Thanks guys. I'll give it a closer look and take my tape measure.
I thought I hit paydirt at this yard. I found an 85 1 ton truck way in the back but when I got closer I found that somebody had already stripped the rear axle.
