the rear brakes on my truck seem not be working anymore- I've had this problem before- Took it to the mechanic, who redid the whole brake system about 8 months ago- was working great. However, 2 months ago, started noticing my truck diving more when under hard braking.

The rear drums/brake shoes were new- So were the slave cylinders.

im going to get it checked out in a day or two, but any ideas? I saw some fluid oozing out of the backing plate, could the slave have gone bad again?

The brake sitll works, cause the e-brake works just dandy.

    any ideas would be appreciated.

pop the drum off and make sure the adjusters are working correctly.
