    Show me your rear bumpers. I need some ideas for fabricating a rear bumper with a tow hitch for my 78 K5... Pics would be cool... /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

    This was on my truck when I bought it.1/4" steel bent into shape.It's attached to the frame with 4 bolts and two 3/4" plates that are welded to the bumper.

    on the sides.

    I'd like to see Weisel's but yer link doesn't work... Looking for something fairly simple in design...

    I like the idea of having the tire on the driver's side!
    Seams that it would stay out of the 'line of site' that way!

    I like the visability of it being on the left also. The only part that I dont like is if you have to open your tailgate on the side of the road you have to swing the tire out into traffic.
