    rear cv ??????\'s

is a cv joint on the rear driveshaft more prone to breakage than a rear driveshaft without a cv joint? is this a strength issue i should be concerned about? i have lowered the transfere case, shimmed down the pumpkin and still have vibration. any suggestions from "drivelineman"? thanks

I am not a drive line man,so Jesse please correct me if this information is incorrect. I have been told by the drive line shop I deal with, that by going to a CV shaft with the same size ujoints as you had before gains you approx. 30% more strength than with just a standard yoke stlye. Again this is just what has been told to me so please correct me if I am wrong, I don't want to mislead anyone.

I may be slow, but I sure am fat!
