rear d44 gears fit front?

    will gears and carrier from a rear dana 44 fit into my frony 44 without a hitch? i do have to change the side gears though(theyre 19 spline)

    All front 44's that came factory from GM are standard rotation. As long a you use a standard rotation rear(which most are) then they will work.

    I am not sure about the spider gears though.

    The axles should be 30-spline at the carrier for any Dana 44 front found in a fullsize GM trucks. Some older 44's found in Jeeps and such had a smaller spline count.

    Brian I promise that they will fit. I would not have gave them to you if they would not work. ok. Just make sure you
    know what your doing when you install them. Brian
