Is this true, FF 35 spline Dana 60s came stock in the back of GMs in 75-77?

Stuck is a state of mind!

No, GM quit using Dana 60 rears in 1972. Mostly they were used in GMC 3/4 tons, and were only 30 spline. Very few 60s came with 35 splines, these would have been duallys of non-GM variety.

Didn't the old duallys use Dana 70's in the rear instead of 14 bolts. Or maybe it was just the crewcab duallys. I can't remember. No Dana 60's in anything newer than at least 1973 though.

My buddies 89 dually has a 70. I've got a SF 60 out of an 80s GM truck sitting at the shop. i thot it was a 14 SF but it has 60 cast in the web on the bottom right side of the diff.

Dana 70s were used in crewcab duallys only from 1973 and up, single cab or cab & chassis duallys got a 14 bolt FF. I don't know when they quit putting in dually 70 rears, as the early to mid 90's crewcab duallys have 14 bolt FFs.
