    on ebay there is a guy selling the rear disk brake set up of a newer model truck w/6 lugs. this will not work on a 10-bolt 6 lug will it?

    If that is a TSM kit, it should fit as long as the truck is not newer than 1987. They described this kit in their catalog exactly like this:
    GM 1/2 TON TRUCK TO 87, SUBURBAN BLAZER 6 LUG TO 91"

    these are the factory disk brakes off of an 99 and newer truck.
