Like it says, I need a K5 shaft that will hook to my truck's np205, so when I re space the axle I can use said shaft to turn the old 14 bolt. I'd also use it set the spacing between the axles.

    I have one from a 79 with a sm465/np205 and 12 bolt rear. It is 38 1/2" closed and 42 1/2" open. 50$ shipped

    just a thought /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

why not take wheelbase measurements from a k5 and then make your truck that length...and not use a drive shaft for setting wheelbase... it will be alot more accurate /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

but you can do what ever you want its your truck.

    Backyardbuilt -

Lemme go out and look tomorrow at the truck and see about some things.

As it is I will most likely take it!

    Gtkustoms -

That's basically the plan, I suppose my wording didn't make it clear, maybe a bit more forward to compensate for the lift.
