I am looking for a rear driveshaft for my 79 K5. Apparently after I installed my 4" lift and 35" tires my drive shaft ends up too short and keeps falling out. I took it into a guy to have him extend it and he said it wasn't even the correct driveshaft for a Blazer and it was a front driveshaft out of a pick-up. How could this be? can they fit? anyway I need an original driveshaft for a 79 K5 and I am in Clemson, SC. Any help would be great, Thanks

pay to have a CV 1 ton model built. Jesse makes good ones from whati hear. 1/2 ton is a liability with a lift IMHO. i almost pitchforked when mine liberated itself on the freeway.

I would get a shaft from Jess... his stuff is the best. What tcase do you have? If you have a slip yoke will need to convert it to a fixed as last I heard Jess was still working on the slip yokes.
