Can a rear driveshaft from a '78 Blazer with NP205 t-case and 12bolt combo be used on an '81 Blazer with NP208 t-case and 12 bolt combo?? Thanks for any info in advance!

Is the 205 a fixed yoke or is it a slip yoke? I think in 1980 they went to a slip yoke on the 205 in Blazers. If it's a slip yoke 205, you have to check the spline count on the 208 to see if they are compatible. If it's a fixed yoke, you won't be able to use it. Stock yokes on the k5 are 1310 u-joints.

If the splie count is worng but the length is right, you could have a shop modify it to work!

The 205 it's coming off has the reverse slip-yoke like the 208, I guess I'll just need to find out what spline count it is to see if it will work. Thanks for your help!
