    Rear Elec. Window won\'t work...

Works great from the dash, but does not work with the key at the tailgate.
Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Chris

Pull the assembly apart and check for voltage once you have it pulled. I replaced the lock/switch assembly in my tailgate, first time I went to use the window with the key, it quit working. Wouldn't doubt that I somehow allowed the wire to get yanked on by the mechanism, and not routing it correctly. Pull off the cover plate, and dig in. To check for voltage, you have to make sure that the drivers side latch is in the "closed" position or the mechanism won't operate.

Yepp!. Also do a quick search on this board with words like keyswitch, tailgate "works from the dash" about 6 mnth's back and you should have pages of reading.

I had the same problem and it turned out to be a cut-off switch inside the window assembly. I would check yours out. Mine got bent and got stuck in the open position. I had to bend it back and now it works great inside and outside with the key. The cut-off switch will be on the left side of the tailgate latch assembly. LMC magazine sells the part if you need it or try a Chevy house.
