If you can get to the connector underneath the tailgate on the left, check and see if it's getting power - Maybe a blown fuse?

I'm really not sure where the fuse is - I've never had one blow (feverishly knocking on desk). The connector also gets loose/corroded and makes it quit working.

if all else fails, remove the tailgate cover. you should see a cable that screws onto the motor on one end and the window regulator on the other. Disconnect the motor end. There should be a square thing sticking outta the end of the cable. Attach a drillonto the square thingie. using the drill you should be able to make the window go up or down as long and nothing else is busted. One more word of advice. Watch your voltage guage when you try to raise the window from the dash, if it drops a lot when you try it then the motor is prob stuck or dead. My Blazer uses a circut breaker for the tailgate so I assume they all do.....

    You call that dirty!?

mpascino is right. I did the cordless drill trick all the time with my second Blazer. I just left the inspection cover off so I could get to the cable real easy. I didn't roll the window up and down that often, and since it was free I didn't mind doing it too much.

I just found out why my power tailgate window for my truck wasn't working. The cable for the window was completely seized. If it's your cable, you can't do much to get the window up untill you get a new one. Right now I have a tarp over the back of the truck to keep rain from getting in. Hope to get a cable later this week.

Mine did the same as BillyBob, It seized up and wouldn't budge. Luckily it stopped near the top so I slacked for months before I got it fixed. I went to the dealer and bought a cable for like 20 or 30 bucks. It was an easy cheap fix! later

If you get to the point of the using a drill to lower it, see if you can push some grease into the tube before you start spinning the cable. I greased mine recently, and it made a load of noise and speed difference when rolling the window up and down! I'd bet I bought myself some time before a cable siezure too.
But definately check the breaker/fuse first!! Go buy a new breaker too, maybe yours has had it. Use a big ol fuse to test it if you don't have a new breaker though.

I have an 85. My window frequently gets stuck down. Mine is because of bad connections (my guess). Slamming the gate shut again usually resolves my issue. You've probably already tried this, but I thought I'd offer anyway!
