Wife was driving mt 87 K5. I don't know if it was an illusion but it seemed that the front tires extended wider than the rear tires. Is this normal or not.

It has nothing to do with the tire width, it is the axles. The front axle is about 3" wider than the rear.

a set of wheel spacers will even out the track widths. I have 1 1/2'' spacers on my /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif with no problems so far. There is a write up on the product review page.
