Rear Gears?

    Is there a way to tell what your rear end gears are with out taking the covers off? I have been told it is in the VIN? is that right?

    If you havent' owned the blaze it's whole life, then you can't be sure the gears have not been changed. Mark the driveshaft and yolk with white out and the tire,,, jack it up,, spin the tire 2 full turns and count how many times the driveshaft went around. ie.. 3 Times and a hair = 3.08's
