So, there I was cruzin up 75 thru McKinney, north of Dallas, and my rear glass just explodes! I'm not sure if I was shot
at, chunked at, or what. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary on the truck.....no big bump in the road, tops been
on for a few weeks. It's nice and tight. Any ideas? Anyone with a good glass, cheap in DFW area? /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

I have heard when there is a defroster in the glass (metal electrical lines), when the defroster develops a hot spot (and is on) it can blow out the glass like that.

But do the later Blazers, have a defroster???

gotcha, blows my only thought out of the water...
sometimes when the weather gets real crazy out that can happen, happened to a friend when a storm was coming through, had the windows shut, pretty warm inside, and the rear glass blew due to the difference in the inside/outside air pressure..
but it was a really nasty storm, pretty much tornado conditions....
