Does anyone know if rear hatch locks are available for a 72? Mine is siezed up. Also looking for some kind of rear heater before the snow flies. Can't have the kids freezing and I don't think the dash heat will keep up with 40 below.
    Great site!!!

I have seen Heaters in J.C. Whitney. They have forced air unit that sould be what your looking for. As for the latches try LMC truck. They have a site up (sory I don't know the url) and carry a full line of resto parts and should have the latch parts you need.

Suburbans have rear heaters as an option. I used one from a 85`. I paid $30 in a local boneyard. Just be sure to get the plumbing under the hood( 2 Y pipes). You`ll need to do the hose and wire runs with new hardware. I think I spent $50 tops on it and maybe 3 hours install time. Sure beats $200 from JC whitney!
