Upon removing the u-bolts from the left rear of the truck tonight, we discovered a broken main leaf. We were going to just put 4" blocks in the rear but with this new discovery we are considering a spring lifted rear also. Any advice on that? Where to locate one for a good price? I'll post in the Wanted section for a used setup also. What degree shim would you use?

Thanks for your help. My Blazer is stuck across town at the shop til we can get it fixed /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

Great tech article. You make it sound so easy but it's way over my head! I *almost* got up the nerve to use the torch tonight but backed out. It would be great to have that ability to fabricate like some of you do. I love Borrego's K5. One of my faves.
