I found a rear power window motor and all the associated parts from an 82 Suburban. Will it work in my 87 K5? It looks like it will bolt right in but I am not sure if they are the same. If they are different, will any of the burb parts be usable so I only have track down the unusable parts?

Any response will be appreciated :-)

I am not certain about the inside guts but the window ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT fit the blazer tailgate.

My turn to chime in....NO IT WILL NOT FIT.....reasons are:
Window is too wide thus window channel is too wide as well
window scissors aren't too big and will bolt in but the window motor/regulator bolt directly to the scissors and it is too wide for the tailgate, notice a burban gate is a bit wider in width.

Here is what you can use:
All wiring, switches, tailgate key switch
Window scissors but not motor and regulator need the gearing and regulator seperate or "remote" and connected by a drive cable
    and thats about it....
    Hope I was of help.
