rear shim for cv shaft

    i am getting ready to order a cv drive shaft but i need to get my rear end pointed up to my t case first. what method do i use to determine what degree of shim to add under my leaf pack?

    Measure the angle of the fin on the diff, then measure the angle of the d-shaft. Subract the two, then take the difference and divide that by 2 and thats how much of a degree shim you need.

    If I was to guess by those pics, I would say about 6-8 degrees.
