rear shocks

    i have an 87 k5 and i was wondering if there was any trick to removing the rear shocks?

    WD40, Liquid Wrench or any other spray lube. the bottom bolt will most likely come right out, it's the top studs that are the PITA. Soak them up then just give them a heathy yank, a smack with a hammer on the top eye may help free them up a bit. Good Luck.

    Just did mine a few weeks ago. Wasnt that much of an issue.

    I did however, use my impact gun, so it came right out. :(
