I am wanting to put in my sliding windows in my top. What is the best was to do it with out screwing up the windows and top? getting the solid ones out was no problem (he he) but there has got to be a easier way to put them in any advise?
also has anyone ever put in new felt for the sliders?
    TIA

Use some small diameter rope or some wire. You set the windows into the opening with the gaskets on them, bottoms in first. Wrap the wire or rope or string into the gaskets deepest part. Spray some wd-40 on the gaskets for slippage and start pulling the rope into the topper, bringing the gaskets inner edge with it. You'll get the idea once ya get it all together. A putty knife and paint-stick are also handy.
