I need some inner parts to my rear 10 bolt, can I take parts from my spare front 10 bolt???
I think you're going to need to be more specific...
Sorry, question is: Can I use pinion gear (not drive pinion) and side gear from a front 10 bolt?
I guess, I don't think there is anything different except the carrier between 28 and 30 splines.
But If it were me, I wouldn't use used gears except as a set ring and pinion.
I think he's talking about the spider gears inside of the diff. You can use them, but if they are different spline counts then the side gear will not work, since that is the part that is splined for the axleshaft.
Yes that's what I talking about, In a Toyota Hilux they call it pinion gear and side gear. Thanks folks.
You are right, GM calls them side and pinion gears as well.
Separate names with a comma.
