If i have to rebuild my tranny should I get kevlar bands and stuff and the Jet rebuild kit? any suggestions? I'm hoping that i just cooked my converter though... i think i expanded the case on it, my dad says that that happens quite a bit on those transmissions when they are under a heavy load. who rebuilds 700r4s really well to stand up to abuse? I don't want a new one since mine is new with 7000 mi on it. thanks

Have been stuck (once) as of 8/12/00

Im confussed that your talking about your transmission is new with oinly 7k miles on it. ;\
But from what all I've read on here the best places are:
    http://www.tci.com
    <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.jetchip.com>http://www.jetchip.com</A>

I'd would just get one from one of these guys. 700r$ quoted me 1200 plus shipping. But hten again, if the warranty thing is an issue you would need to go somewhere local to have them fix it when it brakes again. Cause if you dont adjust the TV cable correctly to can burn it up quick, thus voiding your warranty. Just dont go to AMMCO. Least thats what they say on here.

Will work for beer, parts and tools.
