    Hi there

1st of all .. I would like 2 thank everyone replied 2 my Q 'bout the '74 AWD system .

2nd ... It seems that my transfer case isnt working the same way U guys explained !!! I know its odd ..but what I have is

    4 Low Loc

    Neutral

    4 High Loc !!!

    ( Or at least that's what I think I have )

The Unit kept on making " grrrrrrrrrr" noise everytime I shift from N > L Loc. A friend told me that I need 2 rebuild the unit ..

Is this the Case ?? Plz let me know /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

are you putting the tranny in nuetral before you shift in to 4low loc? the grrrrrr are the gears grinding because the transfer case is still spinning and it shouldnt be.
