all right guys. I know some of you love to bake and some of your wives do; so I figured I'd post a good recipe for everyone to try if they like sweets. Every time Cristy makes this cake, she gets bugged for the recipe and my niece and nephew do not want any other cake but this one. give it a try and let me know how you like it. it came from a recipe book she got several years ago, so it's not her own recipe.

    Hershey Bar Cake

1 box Swiss Chocolate Cake mix
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
    4 eggs
    1 ½ c. milk
    ¾ c. oil

Mix cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, milk and oil together. Pour into 3 cake pans. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes until done. Cool completely. Frost with icing.

    Icing

    1 c. sugar
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
    2 grated Hershey Bars
    Pecans – optional

Mix sugars and cream cheese until sugars are dissolved. Fold in Cool Whip. Add the candy bars and nuts. Frost cake.

Since when??? I thought that's what mother-in-laws were for.........:rotfl: :rotfl:

It sounds delicious, Jon. I'll be sure to print it off for Kim and see if she feels like whipping it together this weekend.

Does it have to be three cake pans? Can I make one big cake? Or how about cupcakes?
