I have a longbed pickup. I dunno where to mount an antenna. I have camper style mirrors, so the driver's mirror is an option.
I do not have a toolbox to mount onto - if I did, I would have a center opening one anyway so that's out.
On the rear bumper on the side? So the tailgate can still open. Or on the bedrail? What do you guys think?

This is the CB I have - Maxon MCB-20.

I don't know much at all about antennas or tuning them so I'm not even sure what would be a good antenna. Flexible would be best, I think, so maybe a whip.

Ok, so a whip can be mounted with the top of it held down, like a half circle? Or no?

I got a truck with a long bed too and I am gonna mount a 102" whip on the passanger side of the bed, maybe 6" before the tail light. I had a whip mounted on the bumper and I liked it there too.
The whip can be mounted with the top of it held down, like a half circle. I did that when I had the whip mounted on the bumper.
