I towed an 81 1 ton with blown engine last fall.Used heavy duty tow dolly.Book said it wouldn't fit,but it does.Use extra straps to secure it and drop the driveshaft.Be sure to leave steering wheel unlocked .Towed with another ton . /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I thought about doing that its just that I cant afford to take the week off of work to drive down there and pull it back.

    Any other ideas?

Dont know who to contact, but how about shipping it by rail.Have wrecker or such tow to rail road.station.Drop off near you.Got to be cheaper than towing. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
