Shazaam! I've caught some nice Stripers just below the dam at Texoma, but they would have just been a snack for that monster! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

ppl catch ones that big= i know over 100lbs= now and then out of the big muddy, i dont know what the nig deal is, and we catch 40 to 50lbs ones commonly out of the salt creek here locally,

i big one would be like 150 or 200lbs really

    crazy..

around here we have blues, channels, flatheads, bullheads, etc, all kinds of cats here but they ar enever clean cuz all the water in this part of the US is nasty dirty crap, so the meat is always not liek it should be but its still fun to catch them, we mostly catch the big oens from jugs in the gravel pit lakes and in the creek, also alot of poles with lines are put out overnight and retrieved in early AM hours, biggest ive ever seen caught on a fishing pole by a paerson traditional way was a 40lbs something one, we put that cat's head on a tree up behind the garagem, been there for a couple years now.

That picture doesn't really do it justice. Catfish half that weight are humangous!

I've heard of divers going down there and not wanting to go back because they say they see the catfish there big enough to take off some body parts... arms, legs, and... well lets just leave it at that.
